I DID SOMETHING TO MY HEEL | Japan Trip (Day 5/12)
So, unlike the other mornings, this morning I woke up at 7:30 to go to the public path. After a nice bathe, we went down for a big, Japanese breakfast. We ate sashimi, fish, soup, rice, tofu and mushrooms.
After checking out of the hotel, we walked over to the perfume shop. We looked around before deciding that I should make my own bottle of spray fragrance. I added essential oils to ethanol and then mixed that into purified water.
Afterwards, we looked at Happy Days, a nostalgic collection of all the old toys of like the 60's or something. Then, we checked out the gemstone museum.
After a twenty minute walk, we arrived at an Italian restaurant. We ordered some pizza, pasta and mushrooms or something. It tasted really good!
We got to the bus station and got onto a bus headed for Gotemba. After a whole hour, we finally arrived. Then, we got onto a shuttle for the Gotemba Premium Outlets. Apparently,
this was the biggest outlet in Japan. Anyway, when we got there, we went onto another bus before getting off onto a train.
Across from the train was our hotel, Hakone Ginyu. As we entered, we were greeted by staff dressed in Japanese robes. We took off our shoes and got served our welcome drinks. Upon finishing our drinks and checking in, we were showed to our room. We had a private spa and a bath with continuously running water. After getting changed into our clothes, we were served dinner inside our room. It was a 7-course meal completed with drinks and cookies.
During dinner, I went outside to our private bath, and since it was dark, I ran into the glass door upon coming in. In shock, I accidentally stepped on my wooden slipper and now my heel hurts like crazy whenever I walk. I don't know what happened to it, but its definitely something internally.
After massaging my own foot (with some of a smart man's help), I went outside to take a shower and bathe. It was very relaxing. After drying off, the beds were already ready for us.
