GLASS MUSEUM | Japan Trip (Day 7/12)

In the morning, after a delicious breakfast, we packed our bags and checked out of Hakone Ginyu. After grabbing our shoes, we walked to the train station to go to the glass museum.

The Venetian Glass Museum in Hakone was really cool and I even sand blasted my own glass! Even the food was amazing, which is surprising for a museum, and the museum itself was very interesting. It showcased historic glass art and modern art.

After grabbing our bags from the underground lockers, we went back to the train station where we took a Shinkansen to Nagoya. The trains were very fast, and when they went past, they were like earthquakes, but louder!

After around an hour, we finally got to Nagoya. We checked in to Mitsui Garden, our hotel for the coming three nights, and put down our bags. Across the street was the train station with a seven-storey department store above it. We ate kebabs for dinner and then we went to the station. At this point I was really getting tired so after half an hour of wandering between shops, we went back to our hotel and slept almost instantly.
